Our History

The founding president of Advance Healthcare was born and raise in Mamfe, a small town in Cameroon, Central Africa, he studied and practice as a Registered Nurse in Mamfe before moving to USA, with further education he was licensed to practice in USA.
The first hospital he worked for in the USA was Sentara hospital where he noticed the vast difference in advancement of technology and diagnostic equipment between Mamfe District hospital (Cameroon) and Sentara hospital (USA) was very alarming. Both hospitals are community based hospitals but one is more sophisticated than the order.

We offer a wide range of services to improve the delivery of healthcare by donating modern diagnostic equipments, supplies and resources to qualifing hospitals in developing countries. We support health care training schools with teaching equipments, books, computers and exchange programs.

We also set up modern medical facilities and school.

Our History

ABOUT ADVANCE HEALTHCARE

The founding president of Advance Healthcare was born and raise in Mamfe, a small town in Cameroon, Central Africa, he studied and practice as a Registered Nurse in Mamfe before moving to USA, with further education he was licensed to practice in USA.
The first hospital he worked for in the USA was Sentara hospital where he noticed the vast difference in advancement of technology and diagnostic equipment between Mamfe District hospital (Cameroon) and Sentara hospital (USA) was very alarming. Both hospitals are community based hospitals but one is more sophisticated than the order.

Hence came the idea to create Advance healthcare to act like a bridge to improve on the District hospitals in Africa. Note that Mamfe District hospital was one of the best in Cameroon but yet five times less equipped than similar categories of hospital in developed countries.
Yes sometimes patients have to travel for hours just to get chest x-ray in Cameroon, not to talk of a CT scan, as of 2024 there are less than ten in the entire country with most of these are available just in the nation’s capital and economic capital. The government is trying to equip and modernize some of these hospitals but we believe more care be done if people of good will can support the efforts of the government.
 

Global quality healthcare should be everyone’s concern, look at how easy it is for one to travel around the world, it should be concerning to know that; one day can find themselves in a district in Africa, you need urgent healthcare and you are not able to receive the care you need because of insufficient medical equipment’s, yes you can be evaluated to the USA or Europe but sometimes life may not given you that chance.
